Why NAEAL
NAEAL breaks Liberia’s cycle of poverty by empowering adults and youth through education. We provide fundamental tools for dignity, self-sufficiency, and active citizenship. Our mission focuses on those left behind by traditional education systems. We believe educating an adult empowers an entire family and strengthens a community. We address critical gaps in literacy and practical skills. Our work fosters opportunity from within.
We drive sustainable change through five core community-based programs. These include Adult Literacy, Economic Empowerment, and Health education. We also advance Advocacy and Digital Storytelling initiatives. This holistic approach builds resilience and self-reliance for the long term. We equip people with skills to navigate modern life and economies. Ultimately, we are nurturing leaders and building a more equitable future for all Liberians.
